Drinking Out of the Freckled Cup is a project to showcase the beauty of people, light, warmth, color, lack of color, skin, touch, mountains, exploration, and most things in between.

I just stumbled upon the most adorable mobile shop on etsy.

A little visit to etsy almost always cures the lack of inspiration I was talking about in my last post!

The reason behind this weeks blog of the week pick is simple- Melissa Haslam is a talented artist and her art completely captivates me- so of course I love her blog and having a sneak peek into her world and behind the scenes look at her projects.

Also, as 2009 is drawing to an end I am considering bringing the "blog of the week" feature to an end. What do you think? Should it stay or should it go? I haven't yet come up with an idea of a new weekly feature for 2010 but maybe it's time for a change...

Sometimes I find an artist that makes me stop still and just stare in awe. Nadia's art does that to me and what's even more exciting is that she's a fellow kiwi! Her art has been featured in Nylon, Marie Claire and Yen and she's also designed for Lily Allen. Pretty awesome for someone from little old New Zealand!

Anyway just thought I would drop in to say hi since I've been away for a few days. Hasn't Laura been sharing the most wonderful things!
